Mbappe makes Saudi U-turn with Man U, Chelsea and Tottenham linked with transfers

Kylian Mbappe is now considering a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal despite earlier claims he has no interest in a move there.

The France international was put up for sale by Paris Saint-Germain at the weekend, with Fabrizio Romano claiming the French club “feel betrayed because they are sure Kylian has already agreed a free transfer with Real Madrid”.

It was PSG who demanded a ‘new deal or leave now’ for Mbappe by July 15 but nothing changed and it was announced at the weekend that he had been left out of their pre-season tour and was put up for sale.
Numerous reports have since linked the World Cup winner with clubs all over Europe, including the Premier League and Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal had launched a €300m offer to PSG for Mbappe, with the club willing to pay the player €700m for just one year at the club.

Their offer was accepted by PSG but yesterday there were reports out of Spain which claimed that Mbappe has no intention of leaving Europe as his priority is to win trophies on the continent.
A report from Relevé insists that Mbappe ‘does not want to play’ in Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career with respected French football expert Julien Laurence also questioning the forward’s desire to play in the Middle East.

But now Spanish publication AS claim that Mbappe ‘flirts’ with a move to Al-Hilal and has ‘started contact with the Saudi country to negotiate for his signature’.
Liverpool are rumored to have made a ‘super offer’ for Mbappe while reports in Spain claim Arsenal are willing to offer Gabriel Martinelli in a deal for the Frenchman. And now the Press Association insist PSG are expecting further bids from Europe’s top clubs with a ‘player swap element’ in the proposals.

Press Association reports: “Sources close to the French club say further bids are also expected, but could take longer to formulate as they are likely to involve a player swap element.

“Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Inter Milan and Barcelona have expressed interest in Mbappe since he was ruled out of the pre-season tour on Friday, sources said.”
